PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating aerosol agent for bee control which is used by spraying and applying onto an outdoor object and is effective for preventing nesting behavior of bees and a method of preventing nesting behavior of bees.SOLUTION: A coating type aerosol agent consists of 50-80 vol.% of an aerosol stock solution comprising (a) 0.01-3.0 w/v% of an insect pest control ingredient containing at least one pyrethroid type insecticidal component and (b) 2-50 w/v% of an organic solvent of a viscosity of 5 mPa s(20°C) and 20-50 vol.% of (c) a propellant and is sprayed and applied onto an outdoor object. (d) The spraying power when sprayed and applied onto an object surface at the distance of 20 cm is 25 gf(25°C), and the volume integration 10% particle size of the sprayed particles is 20-70 &mum(25°C). A method of preventing nesting behavior of bees using tthe aerosol agent is also provided.
