Provided are glasses capable of recording the position of a sound, displaying the position on a transparent display, and adjusting the transparency level according to the volume of the sound, and a control method thereof. The glasses include: a sound input unit which receives a sound from an external environment and recognizes the position of the sound； a camera which records the position of the sound and generates image data； and a transparent display on which the image data generated by the camera is displayed in an area matched to the position of the sound and of which the transparency level is adjusted according to the volume of the sound. Therefore, it is possible to inform the hearing-impaired of the position of the sound and adjust the transparency level of the transparent display to call the attention of a wearer.음향의 발생 위치를 촬영하여 투명 디스플레이에 표시하고, 음향의 크기에 따라 투명도를 조절하는 안경 및 그 제어방법을 제공한다.안경은 외부로부터 음향을 입력받고, 상기 음향이 발생한 위치를 인식하는 음향 입력부와, 음향이 발생한 위치를 촬영하여 영상 정보를 생성하는 카메라 및 카메라에 의해 생성된 영상 정보를 음향이 발생한 위치에 매칭되는 영역에 표시하고, 상기 음향의 크기에 따라 투명도가 조절되는 투명 디스플레이를 포함하므로, 음향의 발생 위치에 대한 영상 정보를 청각 장애자에게 알려줄 수 있고, 투명 디스플레이의 투명도를 조정함으로써 주의를 환기시킬 수 있다.
