A method of shaping a green body provides a shaped green body comprised of a plurality of sinterable particles and an organic binder. Such a method includes: (1) molding a mixture of sinterable particles and organic binder into the shape of an initial green body or intermediate, wherein the sinterable particles include at least one of metal particles or ceramic particles and (2) shaping the green body intermediate with at least one of a stream of energy or a stream of matter, wherein the shaping yields a green body having a desired shape. The shaped green body can be sintered in order to provide a hardened body having substantially the shape of the shaped green body. The process is especially useful for manufacturing orthodontic brackets.Linvention concerne un procédé de mise en forme dune ébauche crue permettant dobtenir une ébauche crue façonnée contenant une pluralité de particules frittables et un liant organique. Ces procédés comportent: (1) le moulage dun mélange de particules frittables et dun liant organique dans une forme dune ébauche crue initiale ou dun intermédiaire, les particules frittables contenant au moins des particules métalliques ou des particules céramiques et (2) la mise en forme dun intermédiaire débauche crue avec au moins un flux dénergie ou un flux de matière, la mise en forme permettant dobtenir une ébauche crue ayant la forme souhaitée. Lébauche crue mise en forme peut être frittée pour donner un corps durci ayant sensiblement la forme de lébauche crue mise en forme. Ce procédé est particulièrement utile pour la production de bagues orthodontiques.
