PURPOSE: An implant including a silicate glass coated layer and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to maintain excellent cell adhesive ability by forming pure silica on the implant surface by an acid etching process after silicate glass coating. CONSTITUTION: An implant including a silicate glass coated layer comprises a main body including titanium or a Ti alloy; and a silicate glass layer coated on the surface of the main body. The silicate glass layer is formed by acid-etching. The implant is an implantable material for use in dentistry, orthopedic surgery, dental surgery, or plastic surgery. The weight ratio of silica and alkali salt of the silicate glass is 1:1-4. The acid is selected from a group consisting of sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, acetic acid, and nitric acid.본 발명은 티타늄 또는 티타늄 합금을 포함하는 본체 및 상기 본체의 표면에 코팅된 물유리층, 또는 산 에칭된 물유리층을 포함하는 임플란트 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 임플란트는 빠르고 강력한 골유착(osseointegration) 및 골유도성(osseoinductive surface properties)을 유도하여 치과, 정형외과, 구강외과 및 성형외과 등의 영역에서 환자에게 시술되는 인체 삽입형 의료기기에 유용하게 이용될 수 있다.
