PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a worker wearing protective clothing to satisfy the two mutually contradictory requirements at once, namely, assuring the safety of a worker wearing protective clothing from the heat attack onset and improving his work efficiency while minimizing the burden on him.SOLUTION: The drum membrane temperature of the protective clothing wearing worker is detected by an earplug type drum membrane temperature sensor of an infrared system. The rectal temperature is forecast by inputting the measured ear membrane temperature to a prediction formula prepared in advance of the cloth make-up conditions of protective clothing worn by the worker, the temperature and humidity conditions of his work environment and his physical action strength shown during work. This control method controls the risk of heat attack onset by inputting the measured ear membrane temperature to a prediction formula prepared in advance including the terms of cloth make-up conditions of the protective clothing used, temperature and humidity conditions of his work environment and his physical strength shown during work for the forecasting of the rectal temperature, and based on the forecast rectal temperature as standards. The prediction formula is a primary expression including constant terms, which is obtained through a regression analysis using, for instance, the rectal temperature as an objective variant and the ear membrane temperature as an explanatory variant. The risk control is made in the manner that based on the trends of most recent previous time-related changes of the predicted rectal temperature. The rectal temperature after the elapse of required time for pulling off the protective clothing is forecast and if the forecast temperature exceeds the alarm set value, instructions are given to the worker to give up the work, pull off his protective clothing and leave the operation site.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】作業員にかかる負担を最小限に抑えつつ、熱中症に対する防護服着用作業員の安全と作業効率の向上という相反す
