Disclosed is an adhesive composition for medical use, which contains an acrylic copolymer, a medicament having a carboxyl group, and a base. The acrylic copolymer is obtained by copolymerizing a monomer mixture that contains 0.1-2% by mass of a monomer A which is an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer, 58-99.9% by mass of a monomer B which is an alkyl (meth)acrylate ester having an alkyl group with 4-12 carbon atoms, 30% by mass or less of a monomer C which is an alkyl (meth)acrylate ester having 1-3 carbon atoms, and 30% by mass or less of a monomer D which is a monomer that is different from the monomers A-C and has an ethylenically unsaturated group (provided that the total of the monomers A-D is 100% by mass). The sulfuric acid content in the acrylic copolymer is 700 ppm by mass or less.
