Here, the image processing apparatus includes an image acquisition unit configured to acquire an image of a target object with a second shape that is different from the first shape, a converter configured to convert the position of the region of interest in the target object with the second shape into a corresponding position in the target object with the first shape, and a composition unit configured to display the converted position of the region of interest on the body mark.
