PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and high-designability handrail allowing firm fixing of leg parts to struts with easy work when performing height adjustment.SOLUTION: This handrail includes height adjustment means 7 fixing the leg parts 42 to the struts 3 in which the leg parts 42 of a handrail body 4 are fitted at vertical optional positions and adjusting the height of a grip part. The height adjustment means 7 includes: a tube member 5 having both opened ends, formed with a male screw 52 on the inner circumferential face, and fitted on the strut 3 and a positioning member 6 fitted on the leg part 42 outer circumferential face in a plurality of parts in the vertical direction by recess/projection fitting. The inner circumferential face of an end part of the strut 3 is formed with an annular projecting stripe part 32c on which the lower end of the positioning member 6 abuts to restrict movement of the positioning member 6 toward the strut 3. The outer circumferential face of the end part (a connection member 32) of the strut 3 is formed with a female screw 32d into which the male screw 52 of the tube member 5 is screwed. An annular extension part 51 on which the upper end of the positioning member 6 abuts to restrict movement of the positioning member 6 toward the leg part 42 is formed around an upper end side opening of the tube member 5.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】高さ調節を行う際に、簡単な作業で脚部を支柱に強固に固定でき、且つ、安全で意匠性の高い手すりを提供する。【解決手段】手すり本体4の脚部42が内嵌合する支柱3に脚部42を上下の任意の位置で固定して把持部の高さを調節する高さ調節手段7を備える。高さ調節手段7は、両端が開口し、内周面に雄螺子52が形成され、支柱3に外嵌合する筒部材5と、脚部42外周面に上下方向の複数箇所で凹凸嵌合により外嵌合する位置決め部材6とを備える。支柱3の端部内周面には、位置決め部材6の下端が当接して位置決め部材6の支柱3側への移動を規制する環状突条部32cが設けられる。支柱3の端部(接続部材32)外周面には、筒部材5の雄螺子52が螺合する雌螺子32dが設けられる。筒部材5の上端側開口周りには、位置決め部材6の上端が当接して位置決め部材6の脚部42側への移動を規制する環状延出部51が設けられる。【選択図】図3
