PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fish gripping tool which, when fish is not gripped with a pair of clamps at the tip end, a state with the pair of clamps at the tip end not freely rotating relative to a grip part is maintained, securing directivity of the pair of clamps at the tip end in a manner advancing toward the fish mouth (a part of a jaw or a lip in other words, mainly the underjaw) and which, when fish is violent in a state gripped with the pair of clamps at the tip end, when the rotating force generated then reaches a prescribed value or higher, a base part of the body rotates together with the pair of clamps at the tip end, thereby protecting the tool so that the clamps at the tip end are free from deformation.SOLUTION: The fish gripping tool is characterized in that it is equipped with a joint which connects a body base having a pair of clamps to a grip part in a rotatable manner and that the joint is provided with a brake which operates on the body base not to rotate relative to the grip part until a rotating force with a prescribed value or above works on the body base.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】先端の一対の挟持部によって魚を挟んでいないときには、握り部に対して先端の一対の挟持部が自由回転しない状態を保持して、先端の一対の挟持部を魚の口(顎又は唇ともいうの一部、主として下顎)目掛けて進入させる方向性が確保できるようにし、且つ、先端の一対の挟持部で魚を掴んだ状態において魚が暴れた場合には、そのとき生じる回転作用力が所定値以上になったときは、先端の一対の挟持部と共に本体ベース部が回転することにより、先端の挟持部が変形しないように保護できる魚掴み器を提供する。【解決手段】一対の挟持部を備えた本体ベース部を握り部に対して回転可能に連結するジョイントを備え、ジョイントは、本体ベース部に所定値以上の回転方向の作用力が働くまで握り部に対して本体ベース部が回転しないように作用する制動装置を備えたこと。【選択図】図17
