The invention relates to a method for defining a dental restoration for the replacement of a given tooth of a patient, comprising a step of selecting an implant according to the bone density in the given tooth, from at least two implants having a main body having substantially the same diameter in the region of the neck of the implant and a different diameter over at least a cross-section in the lower part of the implant.
