The method includes: applying nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium elemental fertilizers and an organic fertilizer before wheat planting; and sowing wheat, and performing single fertilization, wherein topdressing is not needed in the whole process. The nitrogen fertilizer is a mixture of coated urea and conventional urea, wherein a mass ratio of the coated urea is 60-80%; and a mass ratio of the conventional urea is 20-40%. According to the elemental fertilizers and the organic fertilizer applied in the present invention, nutrient needs in a whole growth period of the wheat can be met, and the topdressing is not needed in the whole process, thereby saving labor cost and increasing economic benefits of farmers. Due to the joint use of the coated urea, the conventional urea and the organic fertilizer, a utilization ratio of the nitrogen fertilizer is greatly increased on the basis of meeting the nutrient needs in the whole growth period of the wheat; and by matching the nitrogen fertilizer with the organic fertilizer, the risk of environmental pollution caused by nitrogen leaching is decreased.
