PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect collector capable of efficiently collecting insects attracted to the light of a light emitting unit in an insect collecting sheet, in which the insects collected in the insect collecting sheet can hardly be seen from the outside.SOLUTION: An insect collector 1 includes a body 10 formed slenderly, a fluorescent tube (light emitting unit) disposed on a front side of the body for irradiating light, a cover 30 disposed closer to the front side than the fluorescent lamp for covering at least part of the front side and the lateral face of the body, an insect collecting sheet 90 disposed opposed to the fluorescent lamp on the reverse side of the cover for collecting insects, and an attracting port 60 formed between the lateral face of the body and the end part of the cover.
