PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe aqueous composition having stable, high antiseptic activities.SOLUTION: This water-based composition contains sorbic acid or a salt thereof, and a zinc salt such as zinc sulfate and zinc hydroxycarboxylate.
