PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical device capable of preventing slip of a tip part, accurately and safely performing puncture and preventing damages of a punctured part due to excessive insertion.SOLUTION: On the outer surface of a core shaft 3 and a sheath body 5 at the tip part 10 of the medical device 1, a first friction resistance part 21 is provided. On the outer surface of the sheath body 5 separated from the tip part 10 in a proximal end direction, a second friction resistance part 22 is provided.
