PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressing type squeezing device with sufficient juice efficiency regardless of the surface treatment of a compressing surface in continuously squeezing fruits and a method for squeezing fruits.SOLUTION: The compressing type squeezing device includes: a compressing means for compressing fruits from both sides opposite to each other different from a flowing direction F of fruits a collecting means for collecting juice compressed and squeezed by the compressing means and a discharge means for discharging skins, etc. of the squeezed fruits.
