The invention relates to a fishing float meant for angling. According to the invention, the fishing float comprises a body (1) having an apex (2) whereon there is located a ring (3) for the passage of a fishing line (4) and a shank (5) whereon there is located a ring (6) for fixing the fishing line (4). On the body (1) of the float there is provided a spring (7) having a short segment (8) for rigidly fastening to the body (1) of the float and near the free end, the spring (7) has a ring (9) for attaching the fishing line (4), on the body (1) of the float there being also provided a trigger spring (11) rigidly fastened by means of a segment (12) thereof into the body (1) of the float, said trigger spring being provided at its free end with a shoulder (13) for triggering the spring (7) and also with a ring (14) for the passage of the fishing line (4) and with a ring (15) for fixing the fishing line (4). The triggering spring (11) moves in a 3-step guide (16), having the shape of a saw-tooth, when the triggering spring (11) reaches the end of the last step of the guide (16) the release of the spring (7) takes place, the spring suddenly lifting the fishing line (4) drawing the fishing hook (18) and catching the fish.Invenţia se referă la o plută pentru pescuit, destinată pescuitului sportiv, amator şi de agrement.
