The present application relates to a system (500) for repairing a heart valve, comprising an outer shaft (504), and an implant (502) disposed within the outer shaft, the implant including: an inner shaft (508) comprising at least one tether (509), a prosthetic valve portion (506) coupled to a distal end of the inner shaft and configured to be distally advanced from the outer shaft so as to move from an unexpanded configuration to an expanded configuration such that at least a portion of the prosthetic valve portion is positioned within an opening in tissue, an anchor portion (510) coupled to a proximal end of the inner shaft and configured to be removably affixed to tissue, and a tether lock (513) that is either (i) recessed into a body of the anchor portion or (ii) coupled to a proximal end of the anchor portion, the tether lock being configured to reversibly lock the at least one tether, wherein a distance between the prosthetic valve portion and the anchor portion is adjustable.
