Provided is an absorbent article wherein the depth of an embossed part is easily visually recognizable, direct contact with a coloring agent is less likely to occur, and the embossed part is less likely to feel hard. This absorbent article has the following configuration. The absorbent article (1) is provided with: an embossed part (25) in which a constituent member is embossed and a liquid-permeable sheet (3) is not embossed； and non-embossed part (29). The embossed part (25) has an inclined part (19) and a bottom part (21) provided on the skin-facing side (11). The absorbent article (1) is provided with a first colored part (31) and a second colored part (33) which are visible through the liquid-permeable sheet (3), the second colored part (33) having a hue identical or adjacent to that of the first colored part (31) and a darker tone than that of the first colored part (31). The first colored part (31) is positioned on the non-embossed part (29). The second colored part (33) is positioned on the bottom part (21) of the embossed part (25). The difference in color between the first colored part (31) and the second colored part (33) as measured through the liquid-permeable sheet (3) is 3.25 or more.
