A chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) capable of specifically recognizing tumor-associated antigen (TAA) in multiple myeloma (MM) cells is disclosed herein. Immunostimulatory cells engineered to express these CARs, such as T cells or natural killer (NK) cells, are also disclosed.
