PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter case of a shutter device and a construction method thereof such that an operation to fit right and left brackets to a skeleton can be easily done in a short time so as to improve operation efficiency.SOLUTION: A shutter case 6 includes right and left brackets 10 which support ends of a take-up shaft for taking up and paying off a shutter curtain in a free opening/closing movable state, and a stretch member stretched between the brackets 10. An outer header member 13 as the stretch member is coupled to a wall 3 serving as a skeleton of a building where a shutter device is installed. The right and left brackets 10 are arranged at both ends of the outer header member 13 while the outer header member 13 serves as a reference member for a right-left interval between the brackets 10.
