PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily puncture tissue to be treated by a simple operation.SOLUTION: A guide wire 10 includes: a wire 11 which is flexible and has a hollow part therein and a light irradiation part 12 which guides light for weakening tissue to be treated from the base end side to the tip side of the wire through the hollow part and irradiates the tissue to be treated with the light. In the guide wire, the light outgoing end of the light irradiation part is disposed closer to the base end side of the wire than the tip side of the wire. Since the light outgoing end of the light irradiation part is disposed closer to the base end side of the wire than the tip side of the wire, when the wire is pressed against the tissue to be treated, a part of the tissue enters the hollow part near the tip of the wire, a site irradiated with the light is thermally degenerated and weakened, and the weakened site can be punctured.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】簡便な操作により容易に処置対象組織を穿孔する。【解決手段】可撓性を有すると共に中空部を有するワイヤ11と、前記中空部を介して前記ワイヤの基端側から先端側に向かって処置対象組織を脆弱化させる光を導光し、該光を処置対象組織に照射する光照射部12と、を備え、該光照射部による光の出射端が前記ワイヤの先端よりも前記ワイヤの基端側に配置されているガイドワイヤ10を提供する。光照射部による光の出射端がワイヤの先端よりもワイヤの基端側に配置されているので、ワイヤを処置対象組織に押し当てた場合に、当該組織の一部がワイヤの先端近傍の中空部に入り込み、光が照射された部位が熱変性を起こして脆弱化し、脆弱化した部位を穿孔することができる。【選択図】図1
