This implant (1) is characterized in that: - its armature (2) has: - an elongated base portion constituted by two curved or chevron branches connected to portions (7) for anchoring the implant (1) at the mitral valve ring (100)； a longitudinal arch extending in a plane substantially perpendicular to that in which said base portion extends； - A flexible membrane (3) extending from one branch to the other passing close to the hoop, and connected to said branches without being stretched between these branches and this hoop, so that the two side panels of the membrane (3) are able to adopt either a curved shape, convex externally, or a hollow form, concave externally. Cet implant (1) est caractérisé en ce que : - son armature (2) présente : - une partie de base allongée constituée par deux branches courbes ou en chevron reliées à des portions (7) d'ancrage de l'implant (1) à l'anneau de la valve mitrale (100) ； - un arceau longitudinal s'étendant dans un plan sensiblement perpendiculaire à celui dans lequel s'étend ladite partie de base ； - une membrane (3) souple s'étendant d'une branche à l'autre en passant à proximité de l'arceau, et reliée auxdites branches sans être tendue entre ces branches et cet arceau, de telle sorte que les deux pans latéraux de la membrane (3) soient aptes à adopter soit une forme bombée, convexe extérieurement, soit une forme creuse, concave extérieurement.
