PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument for attaching a material to a medical device surface capable of easily attaching a material as needed to surfaces of various kinds of medical devices.SOLUTION: An instrument 1 for attaching a material to a medical device surface provided to the base end side of a port part 22 for guiding a medical device to a living body lumen includes a storage part 10 for holding an attachment material 13 to be attached to the surface of the medical device. The storage part 10 includes an inlet opening part 11 for inserting the medical device inside and an exit opening part 12 communicated with the port part 22.
