Disclosed herein is a method of cancer immunotherapy wherein an " induced immunotherapeutic agent " is isolated after it has been induced in such an animal host by intralesional (IL) administration of a halogenated xanthine tumor-ablative compound to a solid cancerous tumor of a host animal. A sample of an induced immunotherapeutic agent is removed (collected) from a host bearing the tumor and, if desired, banked, cultured, preferentially expanded, and immunologically-effective concentrated tumor-specific immunotherapeutic agent composition .
