PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article preventing leakage of body fluid coursing along the skin by being closely stuck to a body fluid excretion part and suggesting a mount position capable of effectively exerting its function.
SOLUTION: This absorbent article 1 is provided with a swelling means 30 formed by protruding a longitudinal center using elastic members 34 and 35 and, for disposing the swelling means 30 in an optimal position, has a structure indicating positions fitted to the femur parts of the user by a constricted part (a part where an interval between the both side edges becomes narrowest) recessed toward the longitudinal center line in the both side edges of the absorbent article 1, and the fixing ends of the elastic members 34 and 35 for erecting the swelling means 30 are defined to be positioned 90 mm or more in the front and 40 mm or more in the back from the constricted part.
