PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple solidification acceleration method for a lipid composition consisting of one or more selected from mono glycerine fatty acid esters, preferably a lipid composition for food products or cosmetics, and to provide a manufacturing method of separated lipid for separating the lipid composition into a solid part and a liquid part.SOLUTION: There is provided a solidification accelerator containing one or more kinds selected from linear aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having a structure represented by HOOC-R-COOH, where R is a methylene group, or a linear alkyl group or alkenyl group having 2 or more carbon atoms.
