PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus having significantly high illuminance in a display area of an analyte and capable of inhibiting deviation of illuminance distribution in an endoscope capable of executing zooming.SOLUTION: An endoscope apparatus includes: an illumination window group located at a distal end of an endoscope and including two illumination windows emitting illumination light an image pickup part for photographing an observation object area of an analyte to which illumination light is applied an observation magnification change part for changing observation magnification of the analyte and a mask processing part for applying electronic masks to partial areas 22a and 22b of an analyte photographed area 21 on which the analyte out of the photographed image is photographed. The illumination windows area so arranged that, when executing the zooming by changing the observation magnitude, optical axes 20a and 20b of the illumination light beams are not located at a post-masking analyte display area 24 that is an area where the analyte is displayed when the electronic masks 23a and 23b are applied, and the optical axes 20a and 20b of the illumination light beams are located at partial areas 22a and 22b where the electronic mask is applied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
