PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an absorber for effectively performing uniform mixing of a synthetic fiber and a pulp fiber at a desired mixture ratio without increasing a manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing an absorber includes a fibrillation process for fibrillating a belt-like synthetic fiber sheet and a belt-like pulp fiber sheet by fibrillation means and a mixed fiber lamination process for laminating the synthetic fiber and the pulp fiber obtained by the fibrillation in a mixed manner.
