Placental membrane products comprising immunocompatible chorion are provided herein. Such placental membrane products may be stored frozen and contain therapeutic factors and viable cells after thawing. Placental membrane products are useful for wound healing or tissue repair / regeneration when promoting angiogenesis, reducing inflammation, reducing scarring and allowing other ways of promoting healing is there. The present technology relates to products for protecting damaged or injured tissues or products as coatings for eliminating bacteria, inhibiting bacterial activity, or promoting tissue healing or growth.
