PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin observation device that enables proximity illumination, facilitates change of an irradiation angle for each LED, and facilitates miniaturization.SOLUTION: In a skin observation device, because light emitted from an LED 5 is reflected at a mirror 12 and then radiated onto a skin S, unevenness is less likely generated to illumination, and such a proximity illumination that illumination is approached to the skin S becomes possible. Further, a polarization filter 2 comprises a first polarization filter part 2A making a cross shape by four projection pieces 2a, and a second polarization filter part 2B arranged at a circumference of the first polarization filter part 2A and having an optical phase difference of 90 degrees to the first polarization filter part 2A. Therefore, first mirror parts 12A can be arranged at positions corresponding to the respective projection pieces 2a of the first polarization filter part 2A, and second mirror parts 12B can be arranged at positions corresponding to the second polarization filter part 2B between the adjacent projection pieces 2a, and second light source parts can be juxtaposed at both sides of first light source parts.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明は、近接照明を可能にし、LED毎に照射角度の変更を容易にして、小型化を容易にした肌観察装置を提供する。【解決手段】肌観察装置において、LED5から出射される光はミラー12で反射した後、肌Sに照射されるので、照明にムラが発生し難く、肌Sに照明を近づけるような近接照明が可能になる。さらに、偏光フィルタ2は、4つの凸片2aで十文字状をなす第1の偏光フィルタ部2Aと、第1の偏光フィルタ部2Aの周囲に配置されると共に、第1の偏光フィルタ部2Aに対して90度の光位相差を有する第2の偏光フィルタ部2Bと、からなる。従って、第1の偏光フィルタ部2Aの各凸片2aに対応する位置に第1のミラー部12Aを配置させ、隣接する凸片2a間で第2の偏光フィルタ部2Bに対応する位置に第2のミラー部12Bを配置させることができ、第1の光源部の両側に第2の光源部を並置させることができる。【選択図】図2
