PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair which allows even an elderly or a person having a partly fractured backbone, while focusing on a lumbar flexure (flexure of a lumbar part) to be lost due to a stooping posture, to recover the lumbar flexure and alleviate lumbago without applying a load on a body only by moving a seat plate back and forth while being seated, has a simple structure, and can reduce a manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A lumbago alleviation chair 100 according to the invention includes: a seat part 110 composed of a seat plate 111 placing a hip of a user thereon and capable of sliding back and forth and a seat reception part 112 supporting the seat plate 111 and slightly inclined toward a rear side and a backrest part 120 receiving a back of the user.
