PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasound diagnostic apparatus enabling consistent ultrasound diagnosis against heat generated in an integrated circuit board or the like of an ultrasound probe.SOLUTION: The ultrasound probe transmits and receives ultrasonic waves in different directions and the diagnostic apparatus body combines a plurality of images captured in the different directions of transmission and reception to produce an ultrasound image. In this process, the ultrasound diagnostic apparatus measures the temperature of the ultrasound probe to reduce a number of sound rays in a region beyond a predetermined depth in an ultrasound image in accordance with a temperature measurement result.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】超音波プローブの集積回路基板等が発する熱に対して、安定した超音波診断を可能にする超音波診断装置を提供する。【解決手段】超音波プローブにおいて異なる方向に超音波の送受信を行い、診断装置本体において送受信方向の異なる複数の画像を合成して1つの超音波画像とする際に、超音波プローブの温度を測定して、この温度測定結果に応じて、超音波画像の所定深度よりも深い領域で音線数を減少することにより、前記課題を解決する。【選択図】図3
