PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand-up assisting device capable of assisting a stand-up movement that is close to natural for a person in need of care for promoting independence of the person in need of care such as the elderly with weak legs and lower back, the injured, the sick, and the physically impaired.SOLUTION: The stand-up assisting device includes a support section for supporting the body of a person in need of care, and a drive mechanism for driving the support section. The stand-up assisting device draws a circular arc-shaped trajectory combining a circle and a straight line, which is a stand-up trajectory applying less burden to the person in need of care.
