The present invention provides for transdermaldelivery devices having microneedle arrays, as well as methods fortheir manufacture and use. In one embodiment, a transdermaldelivery device is provided. The transdermal delivery device includesa polymer layer which has microneedles projecting from one of itssurfaces. The microneedles are compositionally homogenous withthe polymer base layer.
