PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device allowing the visually impaired to safely walk by oneself.SOLUTION: The device for supporting and guiding walking of the visually impaired is provided. An LED attached to a white cane and a device 2 for emitting a signal tone are combined. The LED is attached to the white cane not for illuminating the foot for walking of a self but for notifying a person and a bicycle coming toward the self of the presence of the walking person. Positions where the LED are attached are parts separated 12 cm from a tip in contact with the ground and from an end of a grip held in the hand respectively, and six miniature bulbs are disposed thereon along the length of 10 cm to emit light respectively.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】盲人が一人で安全に歩けるようにする為の装置を提供する。【解決手段】盲人用の歩行を補助して案内をする為の装置あり、白杖に取り付けたLEDや信号音を発する装置2を組み合わせる。本人が歩く為に足元を照らすのではなく、向かってくる人や自転車に対して、そこに歩いて来る人がいることを知らしめるのが目的で、白杖にLEDを取り付ける。付ける位置は地面に接する先端から、及び手で持つ握り手の端からどちらも12センチ離れた所で、それぞれに豆球6個ずつをどちらも10センチの長さで光らせる。【選択図】図1
