PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new gadolinium compound which (1) has a high T1 relaxation ability, can highly sensitively image even in a small dose, (2) is excellent in the imaging of blood vessels in a whole body and a liver, (3) is mostly excreted outside the body within 24 hours, and has good safety, and to provide a contrast medium for MRI, containing the gadolinium compound.
