PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culture medium filling member that can satisfy both root preventive property and water permeability appropriate for growth of crop plants.SOLUTION: A culture medium filling member according to one aspect of the present invention is a culture medium filling member used for capillary hydroponics, in which the member is formed into a pot shape, a purse shape or a gutter shape by bending or sewing a water permeable sheet, and whose sewn part does not exist below the height of 20 mm. It is preferable that a water-permeating amount of the water permeable sheet is 0.5 mL/(min cm2) or more and less than 0.7 mL/(min cm2). Further, the filling member further comprises a pair of parallelly disposed sheet support rods, the water permeable sheet is a belt shape, and both side edge parts may be formed into a gutter shape by stretching while the pair of sheet support rods are allowed to have sagging. Further, the member may further comprise a cylindrical frame body into which the water permeable sheet bent into a purse shape is housed. Further, the water permeable sheet may be sewn into a pot shape, and 45° is preferable as the lower limit of an elevation angle in a direction of seam. Furthermore, the water permeable sheet may be woven fabric.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】作物の生育に適切な防根性及び透水性を両立できる培地充填部材を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の一態様に係る培地充填部材は、毛管水耕栽培に用いられる培地充填部材であって、透水シートの曲折又は縫製によりポット状、巾着状又は樋状に形成され、縫合部が高さ20mmより下方に存在しない。上記透水シートの透水量としては、0.5mL/(min・cm2)以上0.7mL/(min・cm2)未満が好ましい。また、平行に配設される一対のシート支持棒をさらに備え、上記透水シートが、帯状であり、両側縁部が上記一対のシート支持棒に弛みを持たせた架け渡しにより樋状に形成されるとよい。また、巾着状に湾曲される上記透水シートが収納される筒状の枠体をさらに備えてもよい。また、上記透水シートがポット状に縫製されるとよく、縫い目の方向の仰角の下限としては、45°が好ましい。また、上記透水シートが織布であるとよい。【選択図】図1
