PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time required for a sterilization treatment while improving certainty in the sterilization treatment in an isolator.SOLUTION: The isolator 100 includes: a working chamber 10 a supply HEPA filter 20 a sterilization-substance supply part 30 and a supply passage 70 not passing through a filter, and communicating between the sterilization-substance supply part 30 and the downstream side of gas flow through the supply HEPA filter 20 a supply passage 72 passing through the filter, and communicating between the sterilization-substance supply part 30 and the upstream side of the gas flow through the supply HEPA filter 20 a circulation passage 80 for returning a hydrogen peroxide gas, supplied to the working chamber 10, to the sterilization-substance supply part 30 a three-way valve 90 for switching between the supply passage 70, not passing through the filter, and the supply passage 72 passing through the filter and a control part 300.
