PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for cutting shaped culture soil for mass-producing shaped culture soils for raising seedlings at a low cost and capable of being easily handled without accompanied with cracking and crumbling of the soil. SOLUTION: This device 20 for cutting shaped culture soil is installed with a cutter 28. The cutter 28 is capable of contacting to and separating from a long shaped product H and moving along the width direction of the shaped product H. When a continuous mat-like shaped product H is fed, the cutter 28 cuts the front end portion of the shaped product H to present the shaped culture soil 10. Thus, a series of the cutting operation of the continuous shaped product is continuously and automatically carried out, the workability is improved and the shaped culture soils 10 are mass-produced at a low cost.
