PURPOSE: A dumpling molding apparatus is provided to mold a dumpling into a shape similar to the shape of a dumpling kneaded by human hands and to improve the sealing of the dumpling cover. CONSTITUTION: A rotary shaft(15) is installed to be at a right angle to a base plate(18) in a rotatable manner. A power transmission device is installed on the top end part of a front axis to rotate the rotary shaft. A camming device is installed on the rotary shaft above the base plate and cam-rotates. A sealing block(12) performs the linear motion corresponding to the rotation of the camming device. A molding pad(51) seals a dumpling cover which is filled with dumpling stuffing and pressure-molds the external side of the dumpling cover to have wrinkles. A pad operating device makes a pair of molding pads slide forward and backward as well as side to side circulation at a constant angle simultaneously. An LM guide guides the linear motion of the sealing block. A cam plate(70) is installed on the rotary shaft above the base plate and has a cam groove on the bottom. A pair of cam follower bearings(73) are inserted in the cam grooves and moved in a curve with a cam. A pair of bearing blocks(19) support the cam follower bearings. A sliding shaft is combined to the sealing block and slides forward and backward. A guide pin is vertically coupled on one side of the sliding shaft. A bush guide has a sliding hole for a pair of molding pads circulating at a constant angle.
