PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing cyclopropyl-fused pyrrolidine-based inhibitors of dipeptidyl peptidase IV.SOLUTION: The method for producing amine includes subjecting a keto acid to reduce amination by treating the corresponding keto acid with ammonium formate, nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, dithiothreitol and partially purified phenylalanine dehydrogenase/formate dehydrogenase enzyme concentrate (PDH/FDH) and without isolating, and treating the resulting amine of the structure (2) with di-tert-butyl dicarbonate.【課題】ジペプチジルペプチダーゼＩＶのシクロプロピル縮合ピロリジンベースの阻害剤の製造方法の提供。【解決手段】対応するケト酸を、ギ酸アンモニウム、ニコチンアミドアデニンジヌクレオチド、ジチオスレイトールおよび部分精製フェニルアラニンデヒドロゲナーゼ／ギ酸デヒドロゲナーゼ酵素濃縮物（ＰＤＨ／ＦＤＨ）と処理することにより還元アミノ化に供し、単離することなく、得られた構造（２）のアミン体をジ－ｔｅｒｔ－ブチルジカルボネートと処理する、アミン体の製造方法。【選択図】なし
