PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorization apparatus having a small space and capable of quick changeover by making the insulation structure portion of a catalyst filter movable in a small movable region so as to obtain an insulation effect of the catalyst filter during the thermal regeneration and to make the draft resistance small during the deodorization operation.SOLUTION: A deodorization apparatus 10 is provided with, within an air conduit 14 connecting between an air inlet port 12 and an air outlet port 13, a catalyst filter 16 for removing odorous components in the air. The deodorization apparatus 10 includes a heater 18 as a heating means to thermally regenerate the catalyst filter 16, and an opening/closing unit 3 in adjacent to catalyst filter 16, and the opening/closing unit 3 includes multiple opening/closing pieces 30 and a movable means for moving the opening/closing pieces 30 and which closes the opening/closing unit 3 during the thermal regeneration of the catalyst filter 16 so as to prevent the air heated by the heater 18 from diffusing.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】加熱再生時は触媒フィルタの断熱効果が得られ、脱臭運転時は通風抵抗が小さくなるように触媒フィルタの断熱構造部を少ない可動領域で可動させることで、小スペースで迅速な切り換えが可能な脱臭装置を提供する。【解決手段】空気吸込口12と空気吹出口13とをつなぐ送風路14内に空気中の臭気成分を除去する触媒フィルタ16を設けた脱臭装置10であって、触媒フィルタ16を加熱再生させる加熱手段としてのヒータ18と、触媒フィルタ16と隣接する開閉ユニット3とを備え、開閉ユニット3は、複数の開閉片30と、開閉片30を可動させる可動手段とを備え、触媒フィルタ16の加熱再生時に開閉ユニット3を閉じて、ヒータ18で加熱された空気の拡散を防止するようにする。【選択図】 図1
