PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fundus photographing device suitably detecting split marks regardless of a view angle change corresponding to a position of a focusing lens.SOLUTION: This fundus photographing device includes: a fundus illumination optical system illuminating a fundus a split mark projection optical system wherein an accord state of the split marks on the fundus is adjusted by the focusing lens provided movably in the optical axis direction a fundus photographing optical system imaging split mark images and a fundus image by imaging elements a control means moving the focusing lens in the optical axis direction based on a separation state of the split mark images, and performing focusing of the fundus and a storage part storing local areas on the imaging elements used for detection of the split mark images as detection range position information associated to the position of the focusing lens. The control means sets detection ranges of the split mark images on the imaging elements based on the detection range position information and the position of the focusing lens.
