A gripping device (100) is disclosed, and it comprises a chamber (108) arranged to hold a fluid and at least one arm (102a, 102b) having at least one fluid channel (104a, 104b) in fluid communication with the chamber, the chamber being arranged to be deformable to enable exchange of the fluid between the chamber and the at least one fluid channel to actuate the at least one arm.
