PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agricultural material which is excellent in the property of retaining heat and the property of allowing the wind to pass therethrough required in a direct covering sheet.SOLUTION: An agricultural covering material is a nonwoven fabric formed of continuous fibers. Each continuous fiber is of a core-sheath conjugate type in which: a core part comprises a polyester-based polymer； a sheath part comprises a polyolefin-based polymer； and the melting point of the polymer in the sheath part is lower than the melting point of the polymer in the core part by 50°C or more. The single fiber fineness of the continuous fiber is 10-20 dtex.
