The present invention relates to: a Brevibacillus sp. R2a23 (KCTC18311P) strain having spore germination inhibitory activities with respect to the fungal species Fusarium, and growth inhibition with respect to the fungal species Fusarium, the fungal species Aspergillus, or the fungal species Penicillium, and the like； and a method for inhibiting the germination of spores and the growth of the fungal species Fusarium in an agricultural product or the like using the strain. The Brevibacillus sp. R2a23 (KCTC18311P) of the present invention and a probiotic or a composition comprising the same has significantly excellent effects in inhibiting the germination of the spores with respect to the fungal species Fusarium, and inhibiting the growth with respect to the fungal species Fusarium, the fungal species Aspergillus, or the fungal species Penicillium.본 발명은 후자리움(Fusarium) 속 진균, 아스퍼질러스(Aspergillus) 속 진균, 또는 페니실리움(Penicillium) 속 진균 등에 대한 생장 억제 및 후자리움(Fusarium) 속 진균에 대한 포자 발아 억제 활성을 가진 브레비바실러스(Brevibacillus) 속 R2a23 (KCTC18311P) 균주 및 이러한 균주를 이용하여 농산물 등에서 후자리움 속 진균의 생장 및 포자 발아를 억제하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 브레비바실러스 속 R2a23 (KCTC18311P), 이를 포함하는 생균제 또는 조성물은 후자리움 속, 아스퍼질러스 속, 또는 페니실리움 속 진균에 대한 생장 및 후자리움 속 진균에 대한 포자 발아 억제 효과가 현저하게 우수하다.
