An immunogenic composition that delivers an antigenic epitope in two different forms (a first epitope derived from pathogen which is epitope in RNA-coded form, and a second epitope derived from the same pathogen which is an epitope in a polypeptide form) is effective in inducing immune response to a pathogen. The present invention also relates to a kit comprising an RNA-based priming composition and a polypeptide-based boosting composition.
