PURPOSE: A Capsicum annuum defense-associated cytochrome p450 gene(CaCYP450A) and a transgenic plant are provided to detect plant disease resistance. CONSTITUTION: A gene encoding cytochrome P450A as a plant disease-associated gene encodes a protein with an amino acid sequence of sequence number 2 or has a base sequence of sequence number 1. The isolated protein(CaCYP450A) has an amino acid sequence of sequence number 2. A method for detecting plant resistance comprises a step of confirming expression of the gene by isolating mRNA from a plant body.본 발명은 고추식물의 방어 관련, 사이토크롬 p450 유전자 (Pepper cytochrome P450 gene, CaCYP450A) 및 이를 이용한 병 저항성에 기여하는 형질전환 식물체에 관한 것이다. 또한, 본 발명은 상기 유전자를 이용한 식물체의 저항성 탐색방법도 제공한다. 상기한 본 발명에 의하면, 병원균의 공격에 대한 식물체의 방어반응 및 병저항성 식물체의 효율적이고 효과적인 분자적 육종을 위한 유전재료로서 제공되어 질 수 있으며, 식물병 저항성에 대한 탐색이 가능할 수 있다.
