The dorsal-side area and/or the ventral-side area includes a low-basis-weight area in which the basis weight of the superabsorbent polymer is lower than that in the crotch area. The absorbent body comprises a pair of side sheets (17, 17). Each of the side sheets has: a fixed area (15) which is fixed to the surface of the absorbent body； and an anti-leakage wall (16) which has a width-direction outer edge fixed to the surface of the absorbent body with a width-direction inner edge being left unfixed.
