FIELD: agriculture； mechanical engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machinery, namely to a device for treating potato tubers before planting or laying for storage. Device for treating potato with protective-stimulating preparations contains inclined sieve 1, above which protective casing 2 is installed, divided longitudinally by apron 3 into two parts and forming first 4 and second 5 etching chambers. Tubers of potatoes, falling into first chamber 4, roll down inclined sieve 1, cross the recirculation air stream with the aerosol created by disk sprayers 8, and fan 14, by means of intake and delivery ducts 13 and 15. Rolling down further, the tubers enter the second chamber 5 where the recirculation air stream is crossed with the powder preparation created by fan 17 by means of intake and pressure ducts 16 and 20. Powder is fed to pressure air duct 20 from hopper 18 by dispenser 19.EFFECT: proposed device for treating potato tubers allows combining application of liquid and solid in form of a powder of protective-stimulating agents to the surface of potato tubers.1 cl, 1 dwg
